Most Holy Redeemer Parish Staff: David Differding

The atmosphere at MHR can corrupt good priests and laypeople. We are all sinners. We have no desire to attack any person, clerical or lay, for the sake of attacking, but if we are to show the harm caused by the embracing of homosexuality at MHR, we must tell the truth.

At least as recently as July 7, 2008, David Differding was the coordinator of the Liturgy Planning Group at Most Holy Redeemer. The group is now called the Worship Committee, and the coordinators position is listed as "none specified." He also serves as an acolyte.

It will be good here to remind ourselves of Church rules. From "Redemptionis Sacramentum" #46

"The lay Christian faithful called to give assistance at liturgical celebrations should be well instructed and must be those whose Christian life, morals and fidelity to the Church’s Magisterium recommend them."

Mr. Differding is so publicly active that he requires a chronology of his own. Warning: some of the photos linked to below are obscene. Please note: we did not take these photos, nor did we publish them. They are published on a website that publicly celebrates such events.

We link to them to show the result of 26 years of neglect of our same-sex attracted brothers and sisters by the Archdiocese. That neglect has led to a church whose Liturgy Planning Coordinator openly attends and sometimes competes in/judges such events. He, and the community at MHR, sincerely see nothing wrong with this.

MHR Altar Server and member of Liturgy Planning Committee David Differding writes complaining letter to "San Francisco Bay Times--The Gay/Lesbian/Bi/Trans Newspaper and Event Calendar for the Bay Area." Differding is upset about KRON's coverage of the Gay pride Parade, particularly that: "KRON (TV) missed an educational opportunity by not covering any Fetish, Kink or Transgender organizations . . . KRON turned off their cameras, and didn't even give the Leather Community the courtesy of being interviewed. The Leather Community contingent was over one block long, and we might as well have not been there, for the non-coverage they gave our community."

David Differding is the Presider at the Most Holy Redeemer Advent Vespers service. The guest speaker is Dr. Ora Prochovnick, President of Sha'ar Zahav Congregation. From their webpage: "Congregation Sha'ar Zahav, the Congregation of the Golden Gate, is a progressive Reform synagogue, established in 1977. We are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual Jews, together with family and friends, both Jewish and non-Jewish."

Dr. Jerome Bagget, Ph.D. to speak at Lenten Vespers Service at Most Holy Redeemer. He is an Assistant Professor of Religion and Society at the Jesuit School of Theology, Berkeley. The presider is Most Holy Redeemer Altar Server and Liturgy Planning Committee Member David Differding, who has been photographed at many obscene public s/m functions.

The "Golden Gate Guards" host their 2008 "Golden Dildeaux" awards. According to Frantix.net, where voting for the awards is conducted, one of the contestants will be David Differding, Liturgy Planning Coordinator at Most Holy Redeemer Church.
