Because
the organizing experience of Most Holy Redeemer Church is
homosexuality, not Catholicism, they have no trouble with
hosting events such as the following in their parish hall,
which would be unthinkable in a spiritual institution whose
organizing experience actually is Catholicism. All the events below are taking place in the parish hall of a "Catholic" Church. February 16, 2002: The "Inter-Club Fund" Awards Dinner, here first, then here, and here. October 19, 2002: Mr. & Mrs. Gay San Francisco February 15, 2003: The "Inter-Club Fund" Awards Dinner, here first, then here, and here and here February 14, 2004: The "Inter-Club Fund" Awards Dinner, here first, then here, and here, and here November 20, 2004: The Golden Gate Guards 18th Anniversary Dinner, here first, then here, and here. February 19, 2005: The "Inter-Club Fund" Awards Dinner, here first, then here, and here. November 19, 2005: The Golden Gate Guards 19th Anniversary Dinner, here first, then here, and here. June 3, 2006: The "Swich-Hitters Ball" October 5, 2006: Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence Revival Bingo, here first, then here, and here. November 18, 2006: The Golden Gate Guards 20th Anniversary Dinner, here first, then here, and here. February 17, 2007: The "Inter-Club Fund" Awards Dinner, here first, then here, and here. September 29, 2007: The "Desperate Divas Drag Calender Pageant" here and here. Before the next event, concerned Catholics sent information to Archbishop George Niederauer documenting the nature of the "Inter-Club Fund" and its member groups. The event went on as scheduled. February 16, 2008 "The Inter-Club Fund" Awards Dinner, here, and here. June, 2008: San Francisco Gay Softball League Switch Hitters Ball, here. Video here. June 12, 2010: San Francisco Gay Softball League Switch Hitters Ball, video here. June 11, 2011: San Francisco Gay Softball League Switch Hitters Ball, video here.
It would
be impossible for such events to be held without the
knowledge and approval of the parish. And in fact, parish
staff are well aware of the nature of these events. This photo
is from from the November 19, 2004 Golden Gate Guards
Annivesary Dinner: go here
first, then here.
The man on the left is David Differding. And
this
is from the February 17, 2007 Inter Club Fund Awards Dinner.
Differding is on the right. Mr.
Differding is an important and active member of Most Holy
Redeemr parish. He is the coordinator of the
Liturgy
Planning Committee,
and here
he is acting as the Master of Ceremonies when the Archbishop
visited MHR on October 7, 2007. There is more information
about Mr. Differding in our "MHR Staff" section. We ask you
to note that Differding's fellow Liturgy Planning Committee
member is open lesbian Nanette Miller, who is also the
Treasurer
/Board Member of Catholic
Charities,
and is a Committee Member for the powerful LGBT funding
organization the "Horizons
Foundation."
Please
also note the presence of California Assemblyman
Mark
Leno
at these events. For pictures, go
here first,
then to 2002,
2004,
2007,
& 2008.
Every year Mr. Leno introduces legislation to nullify
Proposition 22, which recognized marriage in California as
being exclusively between one man and one woman. His
presence shows the real attitude of Most Holy Redeemer to
Church teaching. It also shows how important he considers
these events. By the
way, Mr. Leno also sits on the Advisory Board of the
"Horizons
Foundation."
Sachet is
not just an entertainer. He is a serious homosexual
activist. He sits on the Board
of Directors of the "Equality California
Institute"
a group dedicated to the legalization of same-sex marriage
in California. And
guess who
gave a grant of $7,500 to the "Equality California
Institute" in 2005? That's right, the "Horizons
Foundation"--board
members Mark Leno and Nanette Lee Miller. If you guessed right, you're starting to understand the situation. |
